134 Missed Votes

Stacey Evans has one of the worst attendance records in the Georgia House. Georgians in District 57 send her to Atlanta to vote on their behalf. She isn’t showing up.

134 Votes Missed

She’s Getting Paid. She’s Not Showing Up.

State legislators are paid with taxpayer dollars to show up and vote on behalf of their constituents. Stacey Evans missed 134 votes during her time in the Georgia House, placing her among the representatives with the highest absentee rates.

Every missed vote is a District 57 family whose voice wasn’t heard. Every missed vote is a bill passed or failed without their representative present.

When she does show up, she often votes the wrong way on flat taxes, corporate giveaways, and charter school privatization. But at least when she’s there, she’s accountable. 134 times, she wasn’t even in the room.

The Contrast

Evans runs campaign ads about being a fierce fighter for District 57. But a fighter shows up. A fighter casts every possible vote for their community. A fighter doesn’t collect a paycheck for a job they’re not doing.

Compare Evans’s attendance record to other Georgia House members in competitive districts. The gap is stark, and it’s the constituents of District 57 who pay the price.
